Centipede on stone footpath

No, I haven't got 100 legs!

Part of the track at Chambers Gully was made of a stony rubble, presumably from the quarry that used to be there. Spotted this centipede. Despite the name most centipedes don't have 100 legs but around 21- 23 pairs of legs. They also have 1 pair of legs per body segment; 1 pair of poison claws/fangs underneath the head and Antennae present. The bite is not usually poisonous to humans but can be very painful and cause localised swelling. This one was moving around reasonably quickly and so framing is not as good as I would like but I also didn't want to get bitten and test how poisonous they are :)
