Huntsman spiders of many species sometimes enter houses. They are also notorious for entering cars, and being found hiding behind sun visors or running across the dashboard. This one has been on the ceiling in the hall for a few days, as we have 12ft high ceilings it was not reallly possible to catch it and take outside. This morning it had come down to a reasonable level so I got the camera out and took some pics. Will pop him outside now that he is lower, they are pretty harmless to humans and hopefully will survive even though missing a leg.
