This is a Great Blue Heron. This was taken in the winter 2010. It had been below freezing for several weeks and the local lake had frozen over except for an area that had an aerator running. This guy walked around the edges looking for a fish. He saw it and went in after it. You can see it is a fair size fish. He threw it up and swallowed it head first. This is fishing the hard way at least for us humans!
I am using an Olympus E3 Camera ISO 400 with a 70-300mm lens 750/sec f6.7
