I've never been to the zoo until April of this year. Hope to share some of the shots I took there with you. Though the zoo was small I really enjoyed my time there. First time I've ever seen flamingoes in person.

This mixed media consists of two different shots of flamingo I shot ( with my camera lol) I traced them amd placed them on a black background. I also placed some reeds in the water. A Flood filter was used seperately on each subject to catch its reflection including the palm tree I painted in. Since the ripples produced from the flood filter have no color I added some blue to color it, rippled it and used glaussian blur to blend it in. I also painted in the stars.
