Artist Notes
A friend and I went to Reelfoot lake to do some eagle watching during their nesting. A light snow had fallen which helped us spot them as they walked around in the fields, and even got to see some of them doing the mating ritual, grabbing one another's feet in the air and spinning. I was able to get this shot using a 70x200mm lens on a Canon 50D.
Lighten the sky , dodge and burned,croped.

Retired from Kenergy Electric in 2000 and worked in wood crafts and stained glass. Began photography 6 years ago with a Canon 20D, now using a Canon 50D. My favorite things to shoot are wildlife and nature. Have been a member of the Owensboro Photography Club since 2005. I would appreciate any comments that would help me to improve my photography.
