On this cold and wet day the birds were outside squabbling over the last of the nectar in the red flowering gum tree. Decided to have one last go at trying to capture a better shot of these colorful birds clear of the leaves. On opening the front door about 15-20 of them decided to move on to the trees down the street but a couple stayed. This one posed nicely for half a minute then flew off to join the others on a larger blooming gum.
