Are Norwegians born with skis on ? Some people think so. This is the story about a boy called Hartvig. I am not sure when he was born, but judging from his outfit it must have been some years ago. I think the little sack on his back is really cute. These are the clothes he was wearing when he was only 9 months old and was skiing for the first time in his life.

Also this photograph was taken in the Oslo Ski Museum, but the clothes were just sitting on a doll. (THIS IS NOT A PHOTO OF A PHOTO, but a photo of a model of a baby) To make it look more authentic I added the face of a real baby, and I also changed the background. Also this photo was taken through glass, the lighting was poor and the camera handheld. I can hardly believe that it is possible for a baby to stand on these skis being only 9 months. At least my daughter was 1 year old the first time she was skiing.

avmurray
Avmurray (Annie) was born in Oslo, Norway, where she still lives with her husband. She has always been preoccupied with creative activities. Oil painting has been a favorite for many years. It was actually through working with that, photography came into the picture. In lack of inspiration she started to take photos first, and then paint. In Norway it is not very easy to paint on location, due to weather conditions.
It probably explains her fascination for Greece. A country visited 3 weeks every year. Annie is still working as a senior advicer in a big company, but when it is time for retirement (not too long) more time will be spent in warmer countries.
She is a proud grandmother, and the camera has been used a lot to picture the first years of a human being. Still, it is just the last year that photographing has been one of the greatest interests.

She is a ranked digital artist and is currently at the #11 spot on this years rankings.
