Artist Notes
I wanted this Columbine to have a transparent look. The flower is white but held against light it is easy no to notice both pink and blue shades. I used white paper as a background and let the light shine through it. The flower was hanging loose in front of it without touching it. I used a tripod.

avmurray
Avmurray (Annie) was born in Oslo, Norway, where she still lives with her husband. She has always been preoccupied with creative activities. Oil painting has been a favorite for many years. It was actually through working with that, photography came into the picture. In lack of inspiration she started to take photos first, and then paint. In Norway it is not very easy to paint on location, due to weather conditions.
It probably explains her fascination for Greece. A country visited 3 weeks every year. Annie is still working as a senior advicer in a big company, but when it is time for retirement (not too long) more time will be spent in warmer countries.
She is a proud grandmother, and the camera has been used a lot to picture the first years of a human being. Still, it is just the last year that photographing has been one of the greatest interests.

She is a ranked digital artist and is currently at the #11 spot on this years rankings.

She is a top ranked mixed media photographer and is currently at the #2 spot on this years rankings.

She is also an active reviewer and is holding the #48 spot on the top ranked reviewer list.
