July is the month when most of the day lilies bloom. They are glorious in their diversity and the depth of their colors. They sometimes grow in groups of 2 or 3 and appear like people holding hands. Hello, I am Paula. I am a psychiatrist in New York City. As someone who observes and remembers I have always thought that psychology and photography were inextricably interwoven. I started taking pictures in earnest when my youngest child went to college and I have been addicted ever since. My son taught me how to use photoshop a year ago and I'm still learning every day. I love the way photography allows me to capture a moment in time that would normally be forgotten and make it unforgettable. I stand in awe of all the beautiful things nature has created, and am challenged to do their images justice.
