Artist Notes
This was the moment that the Olympic Torch came to my town, on it's way to light the Olympic Flame for the 2012 Games in London. I was using my new camera for this and to be honest I think it should be better, but You only get the one chance with something like this. Everyone around had a great time and the Children came out of School to see it. I thought that my friends here on FAR might like to see it too. In these days of terrorism, and hardship, it is important that we as a race, hold true to the Olympics, and what they stand for. Truth, Kindness, and looking out for your fellow man, no matter what colour, size, or Religion he/she may be. We need to embrace all peoples of the Earth. Not just those with riches, but the poor, and starving too. We need to tell the World, WE ARE ALL BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Now lets help each other. Roy :0)

I have a Nikon D3200. I love the fact that it allows me to do so much, and I love the macro abilities it has, and I have now bought extra lenses to go with it. I will never be as good as some of you guys, but I feel that you can help me improve. Many thanks.
