Artist Notes
This was another experiment. And I am not sure whether to think it's cool or weird. I took a vase with a mosaic pattern in it. Then I ran water into it from the faucet and filled the vase to overflowing. Lots of bubbles were created and the mosaic glass reflected in ways that were colorful.
Nikon D3X, f/4.5, 1/30sec, ISO 1600, 105mm
In camera raw minor changes in saturation, clarity, contrast, and exposure. In Color Efex Pro 5, I used Tonal Contrast. Cropped.

Hello, I am Paula. I am a psychiatrist in New York City. As someone who observes and remembers I have always thought that psychology and photography were inextricably interwoven. I started taking pictures in earnest when my youngest child went to college and I have been addicted ever since. My son taught me how to use photoshop a year ago and I'm still learning every day. I love the way photography allows me to capture a moment in time that would normally be forgotten and make it unforgettable. I stand in awe of all the beautiful things nature has created, and am challenged to do their images justice.
