Artist Notes
Lilies come in all shapes and colors. This was my favorite this year. I couldn't get over how cute it was. Sort of like they were Swiss looking. Nikon D90, f/32, 1/30sec, ISO 3200, 180mm This is for Rebecca who keeps a low profile but is a wonderful positive influence on this site.

Uploaded to PS5, minor adjustments in contrast, vibrance, and clarity in Camera Raw 6.0, darkened bg with 'burn' tool, cleaned up dirt spots with clone tool, cropped.

Hello, I am Paula. I am a psychiatrist in New York City. As someone who observes and remembers I have always thought that psychology and photography were inextricably interwoven. I started taking pictures in earnest when my youngest child went to college and I have been addicted ever since. My son taught me how to use photoshop a year ago and I'm still learning every day. I love the way photography allows me to capture a moment in time that would normally be forgotten and make it unforgettable. I stand in awe of all the beautiful things nature has created, and am challenged to do their images justice.
