Yes as you can tell I'm back to my dragons again.
This was one heck of a task. My computer seems to say its out of memory when I am doing layers so I had to do a portion then take it over to draw plus do a cut and past, then back to twisted brush for more layering until it would freeze again, and so on and so on until I finished it..What a pain..How ever there is a story to go along with this fantasy piece of mine as always.... If you look closely in the crystal ball there is a warrior, not clip art BTW I painted him also.. LOL
There lived in a far off land a Princess named Cascara whose best friend was Nexieum the kings dragon. He was there at her birth by the Queens' side as Cascara left her mothers womb, and from then until this very day Nexieum has watched over Cascara night and day and became her protector.
Princess Cascara was given a gift on her 13th birthday from the royal magician. It was a special gift that was to only be held by her hands and her hands only. The royal magician knew that only princess Cascara had the purity and the wisdom to handle the power it would give her. It was a large Crystal ball that she could foresee the future. Sometimes Princess Cascara found this to be a blessing, but other days to be a curse. This particular day of days Princess Cascara's heart was filed with deep sorrow. Her Crystal had shown her of a mighty warrior that is soon to land on their island and make war. He will slay her friend Nexieum. What the Crystal foretold always came to pass, but the worse part of this particular future that she saw, had her heard torn beyond what she felt she could bare. She was also to meet the man that she was to fall in love with for the rest of her days and that man would be this same warrior that will slay her best friends since birth.
How can she love someone that could be so cruel and how could she allow herself to betray her best friend by falling for such a man? Will Princess Cascara find a way to stop these events or has her future already been written?

Hello everyone. My name is Diane lynn, ( last intials are kah in case any one was wondering where I came up with my profile name LOL } I joined FAR in 2011 and I am so glad I did. I'm new to digtal art, and fairly new to computers themselves. Never went near one until a few years ago, they seemed a bit too complicated for me but I have to admit that now I go through withdrawals if I'm without one LOL.
When I began digtal painting I had no idea what I was doing, just using a bunch of colors and manipulating them until I saw a form, and went with it. As 2011 ends I have began to do more detailed work. Many here at FAR have been really great influences on me and I have learned so much with others help. I have a long way to go to be able to paint the images that I see in my head, as of now I see a great deal of flaws in my own work, but then maybe we all are that way, I'm not sure.
