Artist Notes
Sorry, I have no idea what that is. I thought it was hurt with a damaged wing; when I caught it in my garden. The camera was close near, but not near enough. I got only one photo from too far away before it flew away [no broken wing]. That photo was not good enough for identification or reference. I decided to paint that bug, but I turned out that my memory has the same flaw as that photo, no detail. In my memory, that bug looked like a hybrid between a cycad, a humongous wasp and a double winged moth. The picture is not good for science; but I hope it is feeding for the contest. [Please do not blame me for not showing the face. I did not see it.]

Digitally painted in ArtRage 3.0.5 on blank, basic canvas using paint tubes, self mixed colors, different sized oil brushes and the palette knife

Both were living by choice with a dog and four cats in the middle of tropical gardens on the Yucatan Peninsula [Mexican Caribbean] for the last 17 years. Now they are in San Antonio for medical reason. She has a degree in performing arts. Everything else including languages is self education.
