Artist Notes
Multiple photos were taken for this effect. The beach was on a separate day from the statues.
all photo editing is done in CS6 and Topaz

The beach was color enriched through topaz. The statues were taken out of original environment and color and texture was changed on them. This was also done with CS6 and Topaz.

I often wonder what statues do on their free time. I imagined these three on the beach doing the most amazing dance. So this is where I have put them in their desired place along the water. They were a copper green and I have changed them up and given them a more fitting skin. Something more fitting of beautiful creations with their skin shining and the sense of their expressions and muscles more apparent as if they were alive.

I have to say the dances that I did view there were so beautiful and full of energy and life. It comes from their very core. I think that is what I love the most, Passion for life has it's moments even if in a dance.

I also imagine them on the beach near the lively water. I have to admit it is a beautiful sight to see and hear. I sat and closed my eyes and listen to all that was around me and tasted the salt on my lips as the water splashed and sent a fine vapor mist upon my skin.

Passionate1
I have a strong desire to be an artist...my tool of choice is the camera aided with programs to help me with expressions I have on the inside :)

My name is Valerie I started on this journey filled with a passion for a way to allow my art to come to life.

I am a wife, mother and a grandmother :) I am my own friend and worst critic. What I do here is not to offend anyone but allow me to express myself as I see my vision. It's funny when I think about it ...but I am very self-conscious person. Having said that...When I feel inspired to capture a moment...I put all things aside and allow the feeling to flow. The moments I capture...are moments of passion and romance, it is not about me but a moment....that is where I choose to play.(10 seconds to get it right...what a challenge)

Would my peers and family approve?
Probably not...but again I may be surprised :)

This is a personal journey for me.

So it is with camera in hand and a ...
