This picture of a crown jellie was taken at the Monterey Aquarium in California last week.
"Jellies don't have bones, brains teeth blood or fins, yet they thrive in all the world's oceans, and to its darkest depths."
This is taken looking through glass. Tripods were not allowed.

I'd been taking pictures on vacation for years, not ever knowing what I was doing, not getting pictures that I liked, and being too pre-occupied (with first my dance/choreographer career, and then music, which continues today as a teacher and performer), to try to really learn something. The change came, as it did for so many people, with my first digital camera, which I acquired several years ago. Finally I started getting somewhat closer to what I wanted.
The education has been bumped up a lot by this site, and I want to learn more. I welcome feedback.
