Artist Notes
the mountain gorilla is the worlds largest primate but despite it,s size & obvious strength it is also one of the gentlest, its main area of habitation are the cloud forests on volcanic slopes 1500-4000 ft above sea level-despite its out of the way residence it is still very high on the endangered species list-could be less than 600 left in the wild now, i,ve done this for the colour green art comp. as you may never get to see a real one in the future-hope you enjoy my offering!
paint program-blank canvas, black fill, used airbrush mostly plus some watercolour brushes & a little pencil work

adrian has always been able to draw from an early age he thinks it must be an inherited gift and he likes using pen as there is little or no mess involved, although now finds himself also using coloured pencils, soft pastels & pastel pencils for better colour tones & graduations.
now using acrylic paints quite widely & enjoying them very much & has the urge to do bigger paintings but finding space is a problem so they may not come up for sale too often.
most of his adult life has been dedicated to repairing & customizing vehicles, having run own business in that field for 18 years & falling foul of stress attacks & poor health attached to that problem, has moved to south west wales nr swansea for the wonderful panoramic scenery & slightly less hectic way of life having sold his business now only working part time in motor trade has rediscovered one of his old passions & now feels that he can share his work with others who may also be inspired to test their own creativity.

He is a top ranked traditional artist and is currently holding the #16 position.
