Artist Notes
This bee had one of the weirdest heads I have ever seen, then again I never saw one quite this close before, LOL.
I loved the antena and the feelers along witht he tounge, he seemed to have more appendages on his heaad than he had legs. I loved how fuzzy he was and the way the pollen just seems to cling to the fuz like static charged styrofoam beads. He was making his was from one cone flower to the next, enjoying the warm summer sun.
From another day in the garden.

Hubbie and I grew up in various proviences along the east coast of Canada, Yep the north Atlantic I shoot very little land or seascapes except when on vacations or holidays When I am shooting at home and away I shoot a lot of close up macro shots of bugs and butterflies, birds and flowers would have to be my favorite next to our six, four legged kids. Three Dogs and the same number of cats, always a picture to take, LOL
