My daughter opted for a home birth and in a pool. She also asked that I take the photo's. Having given birth to 3 children myself I must admit I wasn't really that eager to be the photographer and the moment he arrived I had difficulty in keeping emotions under control and getting the pictures. Now a year later we have celebrated his first birthday and still look on with wonder at the amazing creation of life. This was taken moments after birth and the midwife is leaning over to check all is fine.
