Hopefully spring has truly arrived, 23C today and a beautiful blue sky so I headed off for the 2.5km walk to the Adelaide Botanical Gardens, arriving there around 9am. There were so many flowers blooming I spent several hours wandering around taking photos. Unfortunately because of the weight I cannot carry a tripod when walking that distance but used my camera bag and any other firm surfaces when possible. This butterfly was flitting around in the midst of the blue flowers and I had no choice but to do a hand held shot. Was reasonably pleased with the outcome.
