Artist Notes
This might be some people's idea of holidaying but its not mine. As many as 10 Cruise liners a day turn up on the island of Santorini, where they deposit large numbers of tourists who contribute little to the local economy and just take loads of photographs. If you are a fan of cruising I apologise in advance :-)

I have been taking photographs as a hobby for over 20 years now and I like to think that my photography is improving. I aim to learn more each day and hope this site will help me. I use a Canon EOS600D / Rebel T3i with a variety of lenses but often have my new Fuji F550EXR compact with me, which is great for landscapes and macro. Most of my pictures are taken on walks or holidays and so I thank my long suffering partner, who has to put up with numerous waits, as I compose my shot. If my work gives pleasure to anyone here, then its all been worthwhile.
