This puppy is a friend of Mine named Penny ( the puppy not the friend LOL} This pup is so adorable she is all fur with huge ears, I hope I did her justice

I have had many times people ask me if I use a photo and paint over it, so to show that I use photos as references but do not paint over them I place Penni's photo in the corner so you can see the difference. I do try to get as close to the original painting as I can but as you can see , there are flaws in the painting vs the photo, but then that's the difference in my lack of ability in some areas to paint LOL
