We found Crosby in 1996 in the streets of Playa del Carmen. A full-blooded Collie about two or three years old: abandoned, malnourished and very ill. Somebody told us the poor dog was going from hand to hand since he was a poppy, until the last owner left the area and left him behind. We were also told his name were Crosby. Two years and the help of or vet Paco, from who many say he is a magician in healing pets, gave or dog back his health and beauty. He was a companion for many years. Were ever we were gone he was home: In the Rockies, the Cascades or the Bighorn Mountains as in the jungles of Central America and of curse at our home of choice on the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. Old age took him from us in 2007 but we still miss him. We own this gentle and graceful dog for protecting our health and life and property and for being a friend and family member for many beautiful years. It is said that all dogs go to haven, so in my picture, I have given Crosby the haven he would like. Crosby is painted on blank basic [digital] canvas, using paint tubes, self mixed colors, oil brushes and palette knifes. The tools are being moved with my fingers on a mouse pad. Simplified it is a kind of finger painting.
