Nature In Black and White Photo Contest Contest Entry
It's a picture of the other Yucatan; the one without beach and tourists in lawn chairs, wild, the trees a ragged from the winds which always blow. A jungle with an unique jumble of the natural beauty of the Americas and the Caribbean. A Jungle called Selva; where Ceiba trees grow beside Norfolk Pines and wild orchids beside wild daisies. That all mixed up with a Palm tree ever now and then, and a few plants from Africa the seeds brought by the ocean.
Post Type: Mixed Media Photography
Mixed Media: Medium | Taken on a cloudy morning in black and white mode, Sony DSC-H2, f/6.3, 1/800 sec, ISO 80, focal 6mm, bias -1, aperture 3, natural light, cropped to panorama,
One bird was in the photo but way to far left near the tree. The bird was moved toward the center. The second bird is added.
