We visited Ypers in Belgium in 2006 and had a 4 wheel drive tour of Tyne Cot, Pashendale and Polygon Woods cemetaries which was so moving. We also went to Hill 62 Sanctuary Wood Museum where they the farmer preserved a section of the trenches used in the battle. http://www.greatwar.co.uk/ypres-salient/museum-sanctuary-wood.htm is a link to more on the museum.

Photo was taken with a snap and shoot Casio on a 38C day with no control over the settings - appreciate that focus is not as sharp as it could be. Cheers Mary
Tomorrow 25th April is Anzac Day in Australia and New Zealand where we remember our fallen from not only the War to end all Wars but all of those since that time to current day in Afghanastan.
