Juvenile cattle egrets. They are wonderful and life goes on in the rookeries. More babies being born, more eggs being sat on and more nests being built. We think storms will not come this year.. birds have a sense that if they feel weather will be bad, they will not continue to build nests. They are going strong. Usually they are done by April. Here it is July and they are still building. We are lucky to be able to document all of them and their nature.
