These two ducks were inseparable. They went everywhere together, swimming, eating, and just plain being together. They are being rehabilitated at Flamingo Gardens. Most birds here will never be able to leave as they can no longer be in the wild without jeopardy to their lives. They have been injured in some way. But they have found each other. As several other species have as well and are building nests together. At least they are well cared for. Nikon D7000; 1/2000s; ISO 400
