This little Tri colored heron, was so intent watching its surroundings. They have to be on constant vigil watching for any predators such as alligators that might be close enough for a kill. It does happen and its all part of the big picture of life. I like how this came out with all the surrounding area. I did not want to home in on the bird alone.. its way too lovely an area to not show it off. Nikon D7000; 1/2500s
