Moore hens are the more common of the hens known as Galinules. (sorry if I have the spelling wrong). With the purple being rare and more timid of the two. These reside in the canal behind my home. I go out there everyday and there is always something going on to shoot. I even saw an American Bittern but it was too dark to get a decent shot so quickly. Nikon D7000; 1/1250s; f/5.6; ISO 800
