Did you know that all Calico cats are female? Yep, they are. And they make the best layed back pets ever. Crescena (named after a character in my sister's book), was abandoned by her mother in a large field. Someone found her and took her to my vets where she was cared for. We were looking for a Calico rescue and they told us about her. She was very little and undersized. They could not adopt her out until she reached 2 pounds so she could be spayed. We eagerly awaited the day and thought she would never put weight on. But she did and the wait was well worth it. The girl at the vets office used to carry her around on her shoulder while she waited on people. To this day, Crescena insists on being carried around on the right should only and will not give up trying until I've complied. She is a living doll. Nikon D7000
