South of Adelaide - South Australia

A chapter in the book South Australia

Ingalalla Waterfalls

We headed down the coast at the end of winter last year and following some reasonable rains decided to call at the Ingalalla Waterfalls. Having been there three or four times previously with just a trickle coming over the rockface it was a lovely surprise to see them flowing so much to make a real waterfall - albeit small. South Australia is known to be the driest state in Australia with a very harsh climate recently breaking record heatwaves for our summer with very little rain I imagine that it has returned to just a trickle.
