We went to Cape Jervis for the weekend which is 107km south of Adelaide and originally was a Whalers Settlement now predominantly a jumping off point for the car and passenger ferry which goes to Kangaroo Island. On nearby Starfish Hill and Salt Creek Hill stands the wind farm comprising of 23 wind turbines generating approximately 34.5MW of electricity. Believe me it sure is windy down that way the camera nearly blew out of my hand. I loved the rocks on this beach which ranged from the deepest black to the rust colour in foreground. Know nothing of geology just appreciate the variety of jagged and also rounded rocks.
