These are Australian Shafttail Finches. They reside at Butterfly world in Broward County, Florida. They are in an aviary with many species of smaller birds including humming birds. It is just amazing to walk through these enclosure and have these birds flitting all about you. These Finches decided they liked my sister, Pam's hair. Where ever we walked, they followed her and wanted to pluck some of her hair for their nests.
