Garden Island is on the river and quite a few pods of dolphins are locals to the area. We went for a walk along the Dolphin Boardwalk and in the distance we could view the dolphins at play. Unfortunately the distance was more than my 300mm lens could cope with but sometimes it is nice to put the camera down and just enjoy the moment. The mangroves encourage birdlife which in the main stays well hidden from the visitors other than darting in and out. As stated in one of my earlier posts this is a highly industrial with power stations supplying the electricity for Adelaide.
