The big apes are so wonderful and varied. Here the big male orangutan saunders across his enclosure area heading towards the female. They were very active this day and I was so thrilled. As many times as I've been to the zoo, I've never been able to capture them. He does look like a missing link here. Perhaps they are mistaken for the big foot sightings :) Nikon d7000; 70=300 zoom lens
