During our trip to the riverland we revisited Monash Playground which was an Adventure Playground for Adults in the 60's. Unfortunately due to Public Liability Insurance increasing in costs the playground as we knew it had disappeared and a colourful but sterile safety conscious one was now in its place. I sometimes yearn for the days when you could leave home in the morning with Mom's blessing and return in the evening in time for dinner after a full days adventure of riding bikes, climbing trees and any other activities which our "cotton wool" and "computer game" children and grandchildren have no idea about.
