Adelaide Zoo have two common hippos and everytime I have been in the past they have been hiding under the water just coming up for a quick minute hardly showing anything of themselves. This day however the keeper was giving a talk and going to feed them so I managed to capture some images of them showing us how large their teeth are and getting them cleaned with the hose which they love. I think this was Brutus the male who is 49 years old his partner is Suzie (47 years old).
