Although I had been to Adelaide Zoo on Saturday with friends my daughter wanted to go to Monarto Open Range Zoo 60km from Adelaide on her day off Monday. The baby chimp Zuri was the first baby born in the 30 year history of Monarto and was enjoying some dry weather and a little sun peaking through the clouds. We watched her for quite some time and she certainly leads the older chimps a merry chase as any toddler does.
