Coming in for a Landing

The hummingbirds are not as plentiful this year and very camera shy. This little one was coming in for a landing heading straight towards the camera. I did a severe crop to remove the distraction of the bird feeder. The actual photo was not very sharp so I went for an impressionistic look using a PS artist filter to mimic the use of a palette knife. Camera: Canon 7D Lens: Canon 400mm DO lens F9 Shutter speed: 1/1000
