Ethel Beach Yorke Peninsular

This was taken a couple of years ago during a trip to Yorke Peninsular Innes National Park. Ethel Beach is around a 450 metres long (1450 ft) sandy beach popular with surfers. Not this day as it was fairly flat there were just a couple of people hiking along the beautiful firm sand. The beach was named after the Norwegian ship Ethel which was wrecked and washed ashore there in 1904. A second ship, Ferret also came to grief in the area in 1920.
