The cemetary for those that lost their lives in the Cowra Breakout and during internment at Cowra is nearly 3km from the gardens. They have planted cherry trees from the gardens to the cemtary either side of the road - the pink blossom trees were not flowering but the white blossom ones were in full flower creating an arbor along the path to the cemetary.
