I Have Nightmares About Terrorist Attacks.I am sure that I have a lot of company!
I have dreams once in a while, that really freak me out. To sum up my dreams, they always consist of the incidents that occur in my country but in different locations, they involve shooting, bomb threats or bombing,beheading, escaping and hiding, fear, burning bodies and foreign languages.
I always wake up during the night and have problems falling asleep again. During the next few hours or a couple of days after, a terrorist attack happens in another part of the world. And I'm not talking about places that are suffering in war. So I have learned that every time I dream about something bad in my hometown, I need to watch out.
In the past our politicians offered us dreams of a better world. Now they promise to protect us from nightmares!!
