The Capybara are one of the worlds largest rodents and closes relative to guniea pigs. Adelaide Zoo initally received 2 females and one male Capybara in October 2013 from Los Angelos Zoo and they have increased in numbers since then with several pups being born in 2014. This one had just had a mud bath and then took advantage of the dappled sunshine to rest.
