Macro - Art Contest Entry

When my daughter and her husband lived in New Zealand they ran a dairy farm. I used to go and stay with them for several months each year and loved to go and see the cows. They sometimes had to hand rear calves and gave them names. I was always struck by how beautiful the eyes of the cows were. This is my impression of one cow's eye. I used acrylic paints on 12" x 10" acrylic paper for this, using both palette knife and brush.
