Winter has finally arrived

This weekend has been the coldest for several years with the maximum temperature dropping to 12C (53F) and rain, long awaited rain as we only received 15mm (0.6 in) in June the driest since 2006. Feeling a little housebound and with blue skies we headed to Wittunga Botanical Gardens for a walk however the skies turned grey and the rain came down as we pulled up in the car. Not to be deterred I still walked but only took a couple of photos before giving in.
