I spent my childhood alone in a strange country, in a children's home, so my memory was not the clearest.At Uni we learnt that most people think they have remembered stuff but in fact at some time, someone had said- do you remember ..and the child heard and thinks it is his own memory. No one was there to remember for me, so mine were vague, snatches. half a century later I returned and found much of what I had remembered-
