During the end of September and early October 2015 I was doing an escorted tour of the north east of the New World. Spent 28/9/15 touring around Pennsylvania and got back to my hotel in Niagara Falls, Canada just as dusk was starting. I then rushed out to Horseshoe Falls and started photographing this fantastic location. Took many shots but this one is probably one of my favourites of it. Firstly you get an idea of just how wide the River Niagara is. Secondly there is a fine sense of drama to be appreciated from the rising mists and crashing waters. Thirdly, despite being evening time and dropping light levels, the colours of the river and falls are both beautiful and amazing. Hope to get the chance to revisit in the future!
