February 2016 Open Challenge Contest Winner

I began drawing this picture in February 2016 intending to enter it into the open challenge. I wanted to create a picture that would give the viewer a sense of nostalgia for the good old days. I wanted to make the background dark, so that there would be a kind of glow, like innocence and purity upon this woman's face.
