Good day to all my FanArt friends, viewers and reviewers I wish to introduce you my latest painting named ?Pierrot?.
Yes, he is French my Mother language.
He is genre of theatrical performance in musical plays for children, consisting mostly of gesture, as in grand opera.
Started 2007/08 and finished only in 2010. Found as cover of writing paper pad, in a box while searching for special papers belonging to my Mom. Looking at it for a couple of weeks. I decided to paint it in remembrance of my Mother.
The photo itself is approx. 4-1/2? x 6? I decided to paint this on 16? x 20?. Had to draw hair, face, hands and blouse. Took me a couple of weeks , changed few details I did not want.
Painted the upper part dark blue at beginning. Then, face and hair. At that point I set it down and left there for a few months. Returned, did hands and finished blouse. Again, put away until I moved to Hamilton in 2010.
Having painted white feathers in hands, I did not like, so had to wait till paint dried and took away, had decided to paint roses! Again, looking at it did not like hair and was wondering about the little cap so painted hat ? again did not like. Left it there; looking at it for about three weeks, one afternoon while staring at it something came to my mind to go into my box of arts&crafts and oops I found exactly what I wanted!
Found a salt shaker filled with shiny sparkles all sorts of colors. OK.
Had to take a carboard and cover everything but cap, that was easy - then put a light coat of paint again and while paint wet sprinkled all over cap! Layed it down on floor for 3 days in basement and let if dried.
Then I loved what I had done!
I hope you people will enjoy as much as we do! This one not for sale, private collection!
Thank You All for reading.
