I did this large oil painting last month, my first painting in this visit to USA, for my son and his fiancee.Their love for the last 2 years is culminating in holy knot this Saturday in CAL. Hence the title 'passion' as they appear to be passionately in love with each other.:) It is a 5 day long celebrations, a combination of western and Indian cultures.

I have used warm colours and a combination of impasto and smooth brushwork. It took me 3 weeks to finish it. I wanted it to look mysterious, bright, colourful and exuding passion. I have re-sized the image to FAR requirements.

'Of Nature's World so much to learn and know
Of how the plants and flowers and grasses grow
And though many of Nature's wonders to recall
Her best kept secrets she hides from us all.'
